In 1996 the Omicron Kappa Kappa (OKK) Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. was chartered in the Reston/Herndon area of Fairfax County, VA. Since then, they have uplifted their community with enthusiasm and pride through variety of service and civic affairs programs and initiatives.

Fairfax County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc

Chartered in 1993, FCAC is dedicated to Delta Sigma Theta's traditions of Sisterhood, Scholarship and Service, and strives toward making a difference in the lives of Fairfax County (VA) residents through volunteer advocacy, public service and social action.

Zeta Chi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc

In 1954, a group of women met in Northern Virginia to discuss the need for a new chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® for their rapidly expanding area.  On May 25, 1956, the interest group was chartered as Zeta Chi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®. Its location was designated as Arlington, Alexandria and Fairfax, Virginia.

Northern Virginia Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta, Inc.

In the spring of 1959, thirteen concerned Deltas felt the need for an alumnae chapter in the Northern Virginia Area. They founded the Alexandria Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Due to the increased presence of Deltas located in the many communities of Northern Virginia who elected to affiliate with the Alexandria Chapter, the membership voted in 1977 to change the Chapter's name from Alexandria Alumnae to Northern Virginia Alumnae. It is one of the largest chapters in the Sorority. The Chapter's programs serve youth and senior citizens and provide for the common good.
