Our fundraising campaign is in full swing, and we consistently set ambitious goals each year to supply holiday food boxes to deserving families. These families are selected based on information supplied by the Northern Virginia Department of Social Services and other local community organizations.

The Alexandria-Fairfax Kappa Scholarship Endowment Fund (AF-KSEF) was formally established on March 8, 1990. As a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization, our primary mission is to foster the well-being and growth of young individuals within our community. AF-KSEF achieves this through various means, including:

Scholarships and Financial Aid: We offer scholarships, grants, loans, and other forms of financial assistance to deserving African-American college students and prospective students. Our aim is to make higher education more accessible to those who may face financial obstacles.

Community Support: AF-KSEF actively engages in community programs, including initiatives to provide meals for families in need. We are committed to addressing immediate community challenges.

Summer Camp: We organize a week-long summer camp specifically designed for African American male teenagers, creating a nurturing and empowering environment for their personal development.

Educational Enhancement Seminars: AF-KSEF conducts educational seminars that enhance the learning experiences of young individuals, furthering their academic and personal growth.
