Our Recipients
Each year NOVA Project GiveBack makes a difference in the Northern Virginia Area Community by providing food boxes to needy and underprivileged families. Project GiveBack seeks to support families and individuals that are in the following categories:

Families/Individuals under the poverty level guidelines

Families/Individuals unemployed or underemployed

Families/Individuals with extenuating financial or family circumstances

Families/Individuals in homeless transitional housing programs
-
Families/Individuals supporting physically, mentally or emotionally challenged individuals

Families/Individuals supporting foster children
-
Seniors on a fixed income or in assisted living facilities

VOLUNTEERING
NOVA Project GiveBack is powered by a vibrant community of volunteers who lend their time, dedication, and passion to many different roles within our organization. As a non-profit corporation, we rely on the dedication and enthusiasm of volunteers to accomplish our mission of helping the children and families we serve during the Thanksgiving Holiday season.

Day of Giving agenda will be communicated to volunteers closer to the date.
Volunteer Positions
Unloaders:
Volunteers are needed for unloading the deliveries truck and organizing the food content.
Food Box assemblers:
Volunteers are needed for operating our food assembly and packing lines.
Food Box Delivers:
Volunteers are needed for delivering food boxes within the Northern Virginia Area.
All drivers must be licensed and insured.
All drivers must physically return all paperwork to the Headquarters by 3:00 pm.
All drivers must provide a valid cell phone number.
All drivers must sign a driver’s agreement
Food Box Loaders:
Volunteers are needed for loading the packed food boxes into the vehicles of food box delivery.
Photographers:
Photographers will capture candid shots of our volunteers for the Day of Service from Start to Finish.
